An office building in Midtown New York, 1155 Avenue of the Americas went through a complete renovation and needed wall graphics and wayfinding for its entrance and marketing floor during construction.
Emphasizing the building’s transformation from dark to light, a pattern was designed, suggesting light cracking through the edifice’s black tiles. The approach was then translated into environmental pieces and construction signage.

Inside, color gradients were installed between the marketing floor’s windows, each one representing the ways light plays in the city at different times of the day, emphasizing the passing of time.
Photography of the nearby Bryant Park and of the new façade complement the space, bringing the outside in.
